This Privacy Policy explains what data MediaFlow collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data We Collect
When you purchase a license:
- Email address — used to deliver your license key and send service-related communications.
- Payment information — collected and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. MediaFlow does not store payment card data.
When you use the Plugin:
- Device fingerprint (a one-way hash of your hardware identifiers) — used to enforce device limits and prevent unauthorized sharing. This hash cannot be reversed to identify your hardware.
- Device name (your computer's hostname) — stored to help you identify devices in the license dashboard.
- License verification timestamps — used to enforce the offline grace period.
We do not collect: your Premiere Pro project content, footage, filenames, usage patterns, or analytics data of any kind.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To deliver license keys and activation emails.
- To verify license validity and enforce device limits.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send service notifications (e.g. renewal reminders, update announcements).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
- Paddle — payment processing and tax compliance. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (license keys, receipts). Receives your email address only.
- Supabase — database hosting for license and activation records. Data stored in [REGION].
4. Data Retention
License and activation records are retained for as long as your license is active, plus 90 days after cancellation or expiry. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@mediaflow.app. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. License data is stored in a secured database with access controls. Device fingerprints are one-way hashes and cannot be reversed.
7. Children
The Plugin is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated by email to active license holders.
